How to Organize a Pantry

How to Organize a Pantry

Ideas on how to Organize and Create a great Pantry!
Having a pantry big or small is a wonderful feature to have in a home. Even if your space is small you can turn a cabinet into the designated pantry area to keep your space organized. Having kitchen staples organized saves me time and energy when I'm cooking dinner or baking up some treats with my children. I'm going to share some DIY tips and ideas that have worked for me with you so you can make and keep your Pantry Organized.

We have a large Pantry next to our kitchen and breakfast room and as you can imagine, it accumulates containers, food, holiday decor...it can get cluttered if we do not regularly keep it orderly and tidy in there, especially after a trip to the bulk food stores.
The key is to 'Live with Less' stuff!

Beach House Decor

Beach House Decor Inspiration
My favorite decor always includes French and coastal elements...does that even go together? I'm not sure but I've made it work in my own home. Using textures really makes a home feel like 'home sweet home'...mixing wood, metal, and fabrics can bring any design together if done in moderation. I take my favorite parts of each style and then coordinate the colors. I then make sure to have a balance of wood pieces and metal...it doesn't have to be literally metal, just solid 'cold' pieces that need a soft touch: glass tables, mirrored furniture, sculptures, accents, and candle sticks. Balance those elements with softer accents like throw pillows, rugs, art, lighting, flowers/plants and window treatments.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_FuWzzbiBdgTzZOU0dYV3M0alE/view?usp=sharing

Step 1:

Print out your templates and trace onto card stock.
or
Create with your craft cutting machine.

Step 2:

Decorate your cross shapes, and egg shapes with contact paper (I used clear with polka dots) and colorful Washi Tape.

Step 3:

Secure doilies on the back of each egg with glue (I used glue dots) and make sure place glue on doily...not egg, you want to glue the doily 'paper' instead of the holes in doily. Adhere together and let the glue cure.

Step 4:

Next, strip up your bunting line (I used ball trim) yet ribbon, jute, or rick-rack will work too.
I used Washi tape to hang on window glass in some spots to make it decorative.

Step 5:

Finally, hang up your eggs and crosses. Use mini clothes pins to hang eggs, you may want to secure eggs with tape once your have them placed in case they are too heavy.

Happy Easter...enjoy!

Use colorful Washi Tape to decorate the crosses.

Use card stock with delightful Spring colors.
