How to Organize a Pantry

How to Organize a Pantry

Ideas on how to Organize and Create a great Pantry!
Having a pantry big or small is a wonderful feature to have in a home. Even if your space is small you can turn a cabinet into the designated pantry area to keep your space organized. Having kitchen staples organized saves me time and energy when I'm cooking dinner or baking up some treats with my children. I'm going to share some DIY tips and ideas that have worked for me with you so you can make and keep your Pantry Organized.

We have a large Pantry next to our kitchen and breakfast room and as you can imagine, it accumulates containers, food, holiday decor...it can get cluttered if we do not regularly keep it orderly and tidy in there, especially after a trip to the bulk food stores.
The key is to 'Live with Less' stuff!

How to Organize a Mudroom

How to Organize your Mudroom / Drop Zone!

We all have one in our homes, big or small...we have an area of the house where we collect our jackets, keys, bags, shoes, umbrellas and it is usually next to an entrance. For that reason it is extremely important to keep that area clean and organized for safety and sanity reasons: How to Organize a Mudroom. No one wants to trip over bags and shoes coming in and out of the home, and nobody wants to see a mess of chaos first thing when they walk into their home every night.

We want to have a gorgeous view of serenity when we walk in after a long day and if your Mudroom / Drop Zone is the first thing you lay your eye on when you come home I'm going to share some DIY tips and ideas with you so you can keep your Mudroom Organized.

We have a Mudroom next to our back entrance and as you can imagine, it accumulates many jackets, bags, books, and boots...it can get crowded if we do not regularly keep it orderly and tidy up in there.
The key is to 'Live with Less' stuff!

In the image below you can see a few peaks at our Mudroom; it has a key organizing shelf, built-in desk, and hooks over bench seating...

3 Steps to Live with Less

It's time to live with less, you will be able to save time and energy this way.
You will be able to find things quicker, spend less time cleaning, and spend more time doing the things you love to do....the things that matter.

Just follow the 3 Steps and repeat for each space, everyday of the month for the home Detoxification diet and you will be done in no time. Remember to set a reasonable amount of time on a timer and when the timer goes off, either take a break or stop and move on to the next part of your routine.

Trust me that you will feel much better, your family will feel calmer and relaxed, and you will be thrilled with the results....and the dividends there after.

Organization Challenge- Party

Welcome to the January edition of the Organization Challenge
...a new link up Series that I am hosting here on SWEET HAUTE!!!
I love organizing, labeling, planning, and being efficient in everything in life....but it isn't always easy. To align myself with my goals, I wanted to start a bi-monthly Organization Challenge Link Up where I can be motivated to keep organizing, re-designing, planning, labeling and make the most out of my resources on hand...as well as be inspired a long the way with others who share the same passion as I do and have the same understanding of what we do and why we do it :)
My favorite projects are always budget friendly or FREE, involve re-purposing things, and are relatively inexpensive...I know I said that twice:) but it's always sweeter when you don't have to spend a lot of money!

SWEET HAUTE
