Steakhouse Onion Dipping Sauce Tutorial

Steakhouse Onion Dipping Sauce Tutorial

The dipping sauce used for the Blooming Onion at Outback Steakhouse and the Awesome Blossom at Texas Roadhouse is so scrumptious I had to come up with my own recipe to recreate this flavor at home during my home cooked steak dinners. Steakhouse Onion Dipping Sauce: Feel free to tweak it to fit your liking. This was the closest I could get to the wonderful sauce used for their fried onion appetizers with the ingredients I already happened to have at the house. So raid the fridge and spice cabinet and lets get started on the super quick recipe!

I used an Awesome Blossom for this photo, from Texas Roadhouse Restaurant. Be sure to check out the YouTube video tutorial as well....and don't forget to subscribe! :)

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 Sour Cream optional
2 teaspoons Ketchup
1 teaspoon Horseradish Sauce (or fresh)
1/4 teaspoon Paprika
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon Parsley Flakes
1 teaspoon Sea Salt
dash of Cayenne Pepper
dash of Black Pepper

Step 1:

Grab a bowl and spoon and make sure you have all the ingredients on hand.

Step 2:

Next combine your wet ingredients. Mayonnaise, Sour Cream, Ketchup, and Horseradish Sauce.

Step 3:

Then add your dry ingredients on top. Paprika, Garlic Powder, Parsley Flakes, Sea Salt, Cayenne Pepper, and Black Pepper.

Step 4:

Finally mixture it altogether and set it inside the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes, that allows all the ingredients to permeate and meld into a creamy savory treat!

See how simple that dip was to throw together in merely no time at all?!? Your family will think you're a magical restaurant chef!

Let me know if you have any questions. Have you made a similar restaurant inspired sauce, tell me about in the comment section below. Wooohoo.....Enjoy!
