Beach House Decor Inspiration
My favorite decor always includes French and coastal elements...does that even go together? I'm not sure but I've made it work in my own home. Using textures really makes a home feel like 'home sweet home'...mixing wood, metal, and fabrics can bring any design together if done in moderation. I take my favorite parts of each style and then coordinate the colors. I then make sure to have a balance of wood pieces and metal...it doesn't have to be literally metal, just solid 'cold' pieces that need a soft touch: glass tables, mirrored furniture, sculptures, accents, and candle sticks. Balance those elements with softer accents like throw pillows, rugs, art, lighting, flowers/plants and window treatments.
