Pom Pom DIY Tutu Skirt- No Sew

Pom Pom DIY Tutu Skirt- No Sew

How to make an 'INTERCHANGEABLE' Pom Poms DIY Layered Tutu Skirt that is 'no sew.'
Great idea for an Easter Egg Hunt skirt, fun right?! Then you later can change for which ever holiday + occasion making it totally amazing!
This DIY project is a cool spin on a traditional tutu skirt. It's a great idea for any special occasion or can even be used as a photo prop in your child's next portrait session. You can put this together easily with this 'no sew' method...great for busy families.

I love to dress my kids in cute outfits, especially my girls...but it can get pricey with matching multiples. That's where DIY comes in:) for me...you can still have darling outfits for the kids by making them yourself this DIY way. My favorite fabric and notions projects are the 'no sew' type; they are quick, easy, and more often than not, budget friendly.

Step by Step Tutorial on how to make Pom Poms.
#MakeIt

Step 1:

Gather supplies from list above.

Step 2:

Make your poms out of soft yarn {best} following graphic above. Regular yarn works fine. Soft yarn makes them EXTRA fluffy like the lime green pom, see the difference above.
     - wrap Regular Yarn around paper roll, 70 times for large poms.
     - wrap Soft Yarn around paper roll, 60 times for large poms.

Step 3:

Use a 'no sew' method to attach poms to the tutu skirt so that they're interchangeable. This can be achieved either by tying the Poms or for a permanent application, use a fabric glue such as E600 adhesive.

Easy as 1, 2, 3!

Remember:
I made this skirt extra functional, you can attach the interchangeable Poms by tying with the excess yarn ties or attach a felt backing to poms and use safety pins. You can make any colors to coordinate outfits throughout the year!
