Sequin DIY Photo Booth- Pink

Sequin DIY Photo Booth- Pink

This was such a fun project to create so I'm sharing my experience and story of how I built our Pink Sequin Paillette DIY Photo Booth backdrop for our daughter's party. It was for her birthday and of course she wanted pink:)....girl after my own heart.

Paillettes are even more unique then just sequins, although they are often referred to as sequins.
Change up the color to match any theme for a wedding...party!

Supplies:

Packing Tape/ Duct Tape
Scissors
Ruler
Scrap Piece of Cardstock/board
Level
2 Wood Trim Pieces (optional)
   - 1.5inch wide, 1/2 inch thick, 8ft height

Step 1:

Order your supplies ahead of time, find and gather supplies you'll need locally. Ensure enough time for your event.

Step 2:

Arrange your Foam Core Boards, stacking them with boards laying horizontally. Tape together, use tape liberally.

Step 3:

Wrap with foil metallic wrapping paper.

Step 4: OPTIONAL

Mobile option.
Tape the wood trim pieces on the back if you want your photo backdrop to be mobile or portable. Use a lot of packing/duct tape.

OR

Step 5:
Choose if you're securing it to a wall with tape etc. something similar.
________________

Step 5:

Create a guide with cardstock/board to space and pin your rows of brass sequin pins at an angle so sequins will not fall off easily. We did one row full of pins, then hung the sequins. My guide was 8cm or roughly 2.5 inches yet it will depend on what sequin size you purchase. My paillette sequins were 60mm....about 2.5 inches.

Step 6:

Hang your sequins, stagger your sequins so that each space is covered by a sparkly gem:)
Took us 2 days because we took our time and it was tiring, my finger was sore.
