1. DIY Hinge Sponge Compartment/ Under Sink Panel
The cabinet panel under your sink is going to waste, create a purpose for that wood panel and turn it into a Tilt out Hinge 'Drawer' for your sponges, brushes, drain stopper.

2. DIY Trash /Recycling Drawer
Turn a cabinet / or drawer cabinet combo into a hidden DIY Trash/ Recycling Drawer. There are easy ways to do it yourself our buy a DIY Trash Cabinet kit.

3. DIY Paint Front Door or a few rooms.
Add color to your Front Door or paint a light airy color on your walls so that being at home indoors isn't so drab. I recently painted my front door from 'black' to a lighter color since the sun was basically melting our finger prints and hand marks into it throughout the Summers and those hot afternoon days.

4. DIY Wood Molding
Update your rooms, cabinets, wall, or mirrors with wood molding. There are many books and videos to instruct how to do a beautiful job and it help protect your walls.

6. Tile Back Splash, Re-tileBack Splash
Upgrade or update your backsplash area of your stove so that it can serve as a focal point of kitchen (under the gorgeous range hood.) I am thinking of changing my current tile backsplash to marble because it will match the glass tile which has bits of the white/grey marble.

7. DIY Fire Pit
Transform your backyard into an oasis by creating a DIY Fire Pit yourself and save on the materials and labor. There are so many stone options and pavers, Home Depot even has pamphlets that show you different options and what supplies you need.

8. DIY Epoxy Paint Garage Floor
Every since we've first Epoxy painted our garage floor we've done before we've moved into any other house. Do it first thing if possible so that you don't have the double work of moving everything out and then back in again after it dries.

Replace current basic kitchen faucet to a Upgraded 'fancy' Faucet. Having an updated faucet with a high arch head will also make it much easier for you to fill pots with water and to wash / rinse dishes.

You can make floating shelves or replace wire shelving in laundry rooms, closets, pantries with wood. That will always be more valuable and high end than wire shelving. Wire bends, warps, and things fall through them making them very frustrating in a 'Pantry' setting.
