Crème Brûlée French Toast

Crème Brûlée French Toast Recipe

Creme Brulee or Crème Brûlée is my all time favorite dessert! I was introduced to it as a very young college student and have never had another dessert take its number 1 spot. If a restaurant has traditional french vanilla bean Crème Brûlée on the dessert menu, that is what I am having.

This is a great alternative to cinnamon French Toast, change things up every so often!
Add fresh fruit, powdered sugar, and whip cream:)

I am always interested in ways I can incorporate that flavor into other dishes that I serve my family, and today I am sharing a SUPER easy way you can have the Creme Brulee decadent flavor for your next family breakfast/ brunch!

Ingredients:
3/4 Cup Crème Brûlée Coffee Mate Creamer
6 Slices Bread
- french or texas toast loaf best
1 Cup Milk
2 Eggs

Optional {recommended}:
Powdered Sugar
Fresh Fruit
    -strawberries
    -blueberries
    -bananas
Whipped Cream

Supplies:
Pan
Whisk
Bowl
Mesh sift

Step 1:
Cut up your french bread, set aside. Whisk wet ingredients together until mixture is frothy.

Any bread can be used with this mixture, yet french bread will give a great texture and overall result:)

You can also switch out the eggs for egg whites to make this a lighter version, as well as use non-fat or low fat milk.

Step 2:
Warm oil on a skillet.

Step 3:
Dip slice into mixture, not too long, do not over soak bread.
Whisk eggs and cream until you see it become bubbly and frothy.
Step 4:
Then fry on hot pan, until golden brown on each side.

Step 5:
Top with powdered sugar sifted for a fine finish, whip cream and fresh fruit are always a crowd pleaser!

Whip up some fluffy eggs and crispy smoked bacon and you are in for a real treat!

Enjoy.
