Dollar Store DIY Dessert Stand
Fantastic gift idea for the neighbors...yay!
The dollar store has so many great items inside for you to either use as is...or re-purpose and make into something fun and amazing. With Christmas right around the corner, I'm showing you something you can make using dollar store supplies to create an inexpensive option to give as a gift. After looking through the dollar store imagining something to make, I decided to make a DIY Dessert Stand. This stand can be used for cupcakes, cookies, or cakes and my it is just darling...!

Dollar Store Place Setting & Take Home Gift // Chocolate Candles // Advent Calendar // Santa Mug // Have an ARTSY Little Christmas! {Gift in a Jar} // DIY Dessert Stand // Kitchen Dollar Store Gift // Vintage Christmas Cloche // Homemade Lotion // Gift Jar and Free Santa Printable
This project is totally quick and easy, literally it will take you about 2-10 minutes to make if you do not spray paint it. Yet, it still is fast to make once the spray paint has cured, if you choose that option. The tutorial in this post is on how to make the basic version of this project. If you add any decorative details then it may take about up to 20-25 minutes.

Christmas Holiday Home TOUR
Step 1:
Gather your supplies and ascertain whether you are spray painting the structure or not. And whether you are going to have the Tart Pan face up or down. Either way is really cute!
Choose whether you want to have the Tart Pan faced up or face down. I chose to face mine up because of the purpose I'm using it for. My project is going to function and beautiful, not just decorative...this time:)
Look at my little ginger bread man, trying be all cute and Elf on the shelf....like.

You'll need to pick out some yarn or string, a candle holder, jingle bells, tart pan, and some paper doilies. {Not shown}: supplies to make cookies and cellophane wrap to wrap Christmas gift when the project is complete.
Step 2:
Bake up some tasty treats, all the ingredients I found at my trusty dollar tree or already had some spices at the house.
Step 3:
Package and secure the goodies so they do not slide around in transport to the gift receiver.
I took my yarn and jingle bells and made a decorative string embellishment to tie the cookies up in so they will not shift inside the gift.
Simply thread the yarn through the top of each bell and tie a simple knot to secure them in the desired location.
Step 4:
Glue the Candle Stick to the center of the Tart Pan and let dry.
Again, choose whether you want the Tart Pan up or faced down. I chose to glue it facing up.
Step 5:
Place a doily and add a gift tag, you're done!
Everything I pretty much found at the local dollar store and was able to come up with a unique and gorgeous gift that is inexpensive to make and yet extremely thoughtful. Love went into making the cookies and anyone would be glad to receive a tasty seasonal treat. This gift will be sure to brighten anyone's day!
Perfect idea for a Secret Santa gift or office party.
