Hershey's Valentines Kiss and Hugs Pretzels

Hershey's Valentines Kiss and Hugs Pretzels

RE-USE and RE-PURPOSE Christmas Candy!!!
Looking a frugal project idea for Valentine's Day and a way to use up any extra Christmas Candy? An idea that makes Christmas candy into something useful and delicious at the same time? Hershey's Valentines Kiss and Hugs PretzelsWell try these salty yet sweet, crunchy snacks that are not only bite-size but they are perfect for little hands. These treats would be great for any Valentine's event {or red and white occasion} because of how party friendly they are when guests are socializing with snack food.

I just had to use my Hello Kitty foil in this Valentine's recipe project:)

Supplies:

    -small
    -medium

Pre-heat Oven- 175-200*F Degrees
Varies depending on your oven.
(I had to heat to 200*F yet I started with 175*F Degrees)

Step 1:

Prep your baking sheet with liner and make rows of pretzels. I used the traditional shape of pretzels instead of square because it looks like a Valentine's heart shape.

Step 2:

Unwrap your kisses and hugs and place in pile. Next set a kiss on top of each pretzel.

Again this is an excellent way to use left over candy supplies and candy gifts from Christmas time.

I used the red and white seasonal Peppermint Hershey's Kisses Hugs to go along with my Valentine's Day theme for this project.

Step 3:

Put into pre-heated oven for about 2-4min. The kisses should be a shiny sheen, still in it's shape and form.
See how the kisses are shiny but they are not falling apart, melting.

Step 4:

Prepare your M&M's and set aside. You'll need them right away after removing pretzels from oven. Carefully take out of oven and press your M&M into Hershey's kiss.

Step 5:

Let cool. Store in air-tight container and inside of the fridge if weather is warm.

Now enjoy and share with friends!
Also this is a fun and interesting project to do with kids as a family activity idea in the kitchen and meal prep:)
