Valentine's Day DIY Peppermint Heart Lollipops Tutorial
This craft made out of sweets is a fun and quick DIY project you can do in a short amount of time with the kids AND an excellent way to re-use and re-purpose the left over Christmas candy instead of letting it go to waste!

Supplies:
2 Bags Peppermint Candy
- on hand from {Christmas Holidays}
Red M and M's Candies
Paper Pop Sticks
Cookie Sheet
Step 1:
Pre-heat oven to 250-260*F varies, depending on how hot your oven runs.
Step 2:
Arrange peppermint candy in desired shape on an un-lined, un-sprayed baking sheet. DO NOT use any foil, wax, or parchment paper.
REMEMBER: Do NOT line the cookie sheet with anything.
Do NOT use cooking spray, non-stick spray:)
Step 3:
Melt candy 10-20 minutes.
Step 4:
Once candy is melted together, quickly remove from oven and press pop stick into candy and spin so the peppermint candy hardens around it. Press additional candies, like M and M's to create a pattern, quickly before candy hardens.

Step 5:
Wait for candy to cool completely, gently lift with stick then insert thing spatula underneath and GENTLY, slowly lift so candy lollipop doesn't snap.Please leave a comment below to let me know you've visited. Also ask any questions in the comments section below.

Those look like fun. I tried making something like this for Christmas and mine got all brown. Might have to lower the temp!! #SCBH2015
