Egg Nog Floats

One fond childhood memory that I have is of me sipping a very unique drink at the Monterey Christmas Tree Festival at the local Fairgrounds. I distinctly remember that I loved that drink, I've never tasted it before and I want more of it....whatever it was. I asked my mom and she said Egg Nog of course, but they only sell it in the markets at certain times of the year...I was asking for it out of season most definitely, that's of course when I'd have a craving for this delectable treat. Ever since then, when this time of year comes around {Christmas and Thanksgiving}, stores around the world break out the Egg Nog and I'm always there to buy it.

Now that I'm grown up and have children of my own, they too are now addicted to the luscious creaminess of Egg Nog and drink all of it up before me and my husband ever get a taste. They drink it for 'dessert' because I don't let them eat sugary desserts on the daily.
